About Us

          The history of Walter E. Lee Inc. is an interesting record of entrepreneurial effort.  Walt Lee began to design and build Early American primitives more than three decades ago in the basement of his home.  The quality of workmanship and the attractive designs prompted customers to purchase all of the articles.  Additional orders soon followed  and reached a point where additional help was needed to produce the items.  More room was required for additional materials, and as a result, the operation was moved to a larger business location.  Moves were made in the ensuing years as the range of artifacts and products grew.  Most recently, we combined all of our operations, offices, showroom, design, casting, and finishing facilities in the Northampton Industrial Park in Ivyland, Pennsylvania.
